A Hong Kong court has banned "Glory to Hong Kong," a protest song from the city's 2019 pro-democracy movement, calling it a "weapon" that could be used to bring down the government and an "insult" to China's national anthem. The ruling, aimed at restricting online access to a song already banned from being sung publicly under national security laws, underscores how authorities have erased the difference between Communist Party-run China and the once-freewheeling Hong Kong.
